THANK YOU TO ALL WHO ATTENDED AND DONATED TO THE SEMINARIAN EMERGENCY FUND THROUGH YOUR DONATIONS TO THE REMEMBRANCE TREE. YOUR LOVED ONES WILL BE PRAYED FOR THE NEXT YEAR BY OUR SEMINARIANS AT OUR "SPECIAL TREE".
The annual Remembrance Tree ceremony will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach. Please send the names of your deceased loved ones who passed away this year to Roxy LaChance 124 E Bonefish Circle, Jupiter, Florida, no later than October 25, 2024. They will be placed on the scroll to be buried under a designated oak tree at the seminary where the seminarians regularly pray.
It is a beautiful way to remember our loved ones who passed in the last year! The Remebrance Tree

Bishop Gerald M. Barbarito, presides over a ceremony in November at the Tree of Remembrance where a scroll with your loved ones names is buried in a canister beneath the tree.
This beautiful tree is located on the Seminary grounds, where Seminarians can stroll or sit and partake of nature and pray. A lovely silver plaque designates the spot where the yearly canister is buried.
Each year the previous year's scroll is removed from the canister. This scroll is burned and the new scroll is inserted inside the canister and is buried once again with a celebration of song and prayers.
At the first General Meeting of your affilation, your president will have the prayer request flyers and evelopes ready for you. Return those names to your affilation Treasurer, who will in turn get them to your Deanery Vice President and from there be submitted to the PBDCCW.
Please plan to attend the November Remembrance Tree Celebration at our Seminary in Boynton Beach. Bishop Barbarito was quite impressed with the number of Council members in attendance this past year.
This is a wonderful way to honor your departed loved ones, while helping to financially support the education of the future priests of our Church.
Hope to see you at the Remembrance Tree ceremony next November!
